Sick child and his family supported by Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney

About us

We believe when families are together, they cope better.  We believe no family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone.

Supporting families when children need healthcare

Founded in 1981, Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that cares for families when their child is ill or injured.

Working alongside our hospital partners, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW), Nepean Hospital, and Campbelltown Hospital, we provide essential services that remove barriers so families can stay together, stay strong, and stay connected to everyday life throughout their child’s healthcare journey.

From accommodation close to the hospital to meals, education services, practical care, and holistic support, we surround families with the stability and resources they need to stay at the heart of their child’s care and achieve the best possible health outcomes.
